defining seeit
today is the day i meet a foundation and I'm so scared...
well, to be fair not really scared but anxious about the whole thing. what if the idea bad, what if the idea isn't coherent, what if i don't do well.
i told myself i wouldn't say such words as it actually might sink into my mind. but, ya know it already too late. i think everyone has these thoughts and i just go to handle it and go forward.
on the bright side, really excited to see what their facilities are like and get a chance to meet people for real. just learning is really sweet to just know how a foundation like that works.
well let's start defining it.
in simplest terms i think that there's a lot of low hanging fruit in the world for fulfillment. we live in a world where jobs are really isolated from the benefactors. no one really knows what they do except. i believe that this is the root cause of feeling burnout, feeling not valuable, and feeling unconnected. ultimately, if we can connect an action to their impacts i believe that we can see a lot of more happier and more fulfilled people. knowing your value is an incredibly important aspect and often we do lots of impactful acts without know.
it's gonna take a lot of a work to change and shift the culture around appreciation but i think if i target organizations with the benefits i believe it can work well. of course, i think there a lot of benefits with efficiently, productivity, and turn over rate but that's just the subsequently consequences of more happier workers. which the root cause is what i described.
of course, this is not going too apply to every job in the world but if i can just impact a few people in finding fulfillment, their value, or making their lives better i'd be really happy.
so, why is seeit a good fit for this foundation. first of all, i think that seeit can be applied to any organizations. it's a universal / shift in culture rather than a specific organization. works for both groups of individual people. but, a foundation aligns really well with my goals and my missions. i think for younger boys and girls it also allows them to know their with by attributes either fundraiser with their impacts and it also allow them to see how their word is effected.
an issue, is how do we get adults or other to really help send photos of them being impacted which is the tough part. i feel like this is where my faith is tested, not in reglious way. but, i found that in the world where i doubted people would do it, they often done it and surprises me. people love doing things to help others whether donatations, opening doors, and just because i can't see it doesn't mean it doesn't exist a type of person who would.
so, how do i come into the picture. ultimately, if you want to do more inidivudal things with an organization that is tied to their donations to their impacts you're going to need to do something most custom. well atless at the start until i learn more about different organizations i need to atless know how things work before i can generalize it. so, I'll probably have to go implement code behind the scenes / services base on the organizations information which can attributes code values to people and track it.
well, you might ask this seem simple enough to do myself and i'd say it would be. i would be happy for you to join the movement and shift the culture at your organization without my time commitment. if i can do that without the risk of my time and others i'd be very happy. join join join!!!
