github annoying af
i've been learning zed the new editor that's up and coming. I've been enjoying it but the thing that's soooo annoying is using github. this might expose my inexperience but idc. i think vscode had better github integritations so that i could login into github and it would handle my authentication when push/pull/fetch commands. but, in the zed i keep getting this annoying ass password which isn't even possible anymore.
like, what is github asking me for my password when i can't even use it anymore to confirm my login/identity to let me push my code. now i have to do this ssh, or pat key which expires. so annoying. like i just want to push my code to github man. please let me code.
one thing that it's ruined is my remote work flow. i can't get the work done remotely unless i get this workflow setup which is diasterful to my momentum. naw, I'm just making excused, but still it's pissing me off.
I'm probably missing something which makes it easy to handle github authentication and i will figure it out. but, for now this has been so painful for the past few days.
