Andy'S iter.

routine

for the past month i've been having a pretty decent routine. usually my day follows a template of wakeup -> journal of previous day -> read -> write on bear -> gym -> base on day either school or back home to do work -> rest -> more work -> then sleep -> repeat. I found the routine to be pretty decent but there's a few issues as i continue it.

one, the issue of trying to fit more ina day or when off course. i noticed that whenever i wake up late the routine is thrown off. trying to get back on course i move around my day doing big shifts in my routine, which is not good. i learned that i should just continue my day as if nothing happened. no point of doing big shifts just do the same day but on a different time scale, then change the bed time or fix the issue. for me, it was the consumption of tea way to late in my day causing sleep issues. just do small adjustments and don't change the template else bigger issues arises.

another thing that bothers me about a routine is the notion that it's boring or comes off lame from the outside. is he living like a robot? no fun!? but to be honest the more i live this life it feels like the things that daunt are a lot easier. probably due to habits reducing the resistence to do these tasks. which ultimately keeps me on track. it may feel boring to have a mono template, but the tasks itself are really interesting. to read new content everyday, enter the flow state when writing, and feel healthier is not something i trade. the andy constitution says otherwise which is also i reason i can't stop.

going forward, i want to add maybe drawing to my morning routine. curious to see if i can improve at drawing if i add it. i have a guess that if i do I'm going to actually get good at drawing. just a little scribble might be worth giving it a shot!

looking back i think my journal what really led me to this routine. i did one thing and it became a staple in my day, which allowed to me to add more and more tasks. allowing me to add more and more to my day. maybe a routine is the trick to success? to have a habbitize routine which allows for constant growth base on addition of new actions in the morning.

today! ill add drawing as an experiment. the next month I'll try and see if my speculations are correct.
